Shab e Meraj, also known as Isra and Miraj, is an important event in Islamic history that commemorates the Prophet Muhammad's journey from Mecca to Jerusalem and his ascent to the heavens. According to Islamic tradition, this event occurred on the 27th day of the Islamic month of Rajab, which is around April or May in the Gregorian calendar.

During the journey, it is believed that the Prophet Muhammad traveled on the winged horse Buraq from Mecca to Jerusalem, where he prayed at the Al-Aqsa Mosque and then ascended to the heavens, where he met various prophets and received guidance from Allah.

Shab e Meraj is considered a significant event in Islamic history, and it is commemorated by Muslims through various forms of worship and celebration, such as offering special prayers, reciting the Quran, and holding religious gatherings. It is also a time for Muslims to reflect on the importance of spiritual journey and the ultimate goal of attaining closeness to Allah.
